Digiweigh DW-76XP Postal Scale
With an increase in both retail and wholesale orders I started processing shipments online through Canada Post. With smaller shipments i had a very accurate lab scale that went to 6Kg that i use for weighing ingredients. The problem was that for wholesale orders i regularly ship boxes of 15 to 25 kg and had to process those shipments manually at the post office.
This wasn’t a problem in the beginning because the online system wouldn’t allow for COD orders. I have many weekly and monthly wholesale customers using this option. Canada Post recently changed their online system to now handle COD orders so i purchased a shipping scale to manage orders over 6kg.
I managed to get an amazing deal on Ebay for the Digiweigh DW-76XP 76-lb Postal Scale. Including shipping i paid about $30. How could i go wrong at that price and less stress on the expensive and very sensitive lab scale.
Processed two orders online today with the new scale and they were both dead on compared to Canada Posts scales so this made for a perfect solution.

That’s actually… super exciting! I feel like such a g33k now. I remember me & my coworkers while very bored would see just how many sheets of paper (plus the required envelope) we could mail across Canada for the minimum stamp charge. hahaha.
