Simulacra – PunkMedics

My Friend Jana mentioned a local event called StartupEmpire. It’s a one day conference for entrepreneurs in Canada.

A part of me shudders at the thought of attending because of my involvement in the early tech days with online marketing and analytics. I can already smell the dog and pony show… I got out of that period of my life because i felt i wasn’t creating anything tangible. I felt like i wasn’t selling a product or service but “selling hope”

One of the reasons i love making aftercare at BodyArtPro is that i’m making something i believe in and know helps people when they need it.

I’m still looking forward to the conference though. I think a lot has changed in the tech world. i think it’ll be a unique perspective and i can learn a lot from a conference of this nature even if i’m selling a product instead of an online application.

I guess we shall find out next week.
